Are Claude gift codes available?
No. Claude gift codes are not available right now. Use a HideTap virtual card to pay at Anthropic checkout instead.
Can I use the virtual card for Claude Code?
Yes. You can use the card to pay Anthropic for Claude Pro and Max plans, which include Claude Code. Anthropic and the card issuer still run their own checks on each payment.
Can I load the card with crypto?
Yes. Deposit a supported coin into your HideTap wallet. Then create a virtual card and move enough money onto it before you pay Anthropic.
Where do I find the billing address and 3D Secure code?
Both are on your card details page. Enter that billing address at checkout. 3D Secure is a one-time security code for online card payments. If Anthropic asks for one, get it from the same page.
Which cryptocurrencies can I deposit?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and other major coins. Before you deposit, your wallet shows the current list and the exact network to send on.
What currency is the card in?
US dollars (USD). Anthropic bills Claude plans in USD, so you avoid a currency conversion at checkout.
How much should I load before I pay Anthropic?
Load the plan price plus a little extra. Anthropic places a temporary hold on the card at checkout. If your balance only just covers the plan, the payment can fail.
Are there any fees?
Yes. There is a fee to create a card and a fee to add money to it. Each fee is a fixed amount plus a percentage. You see the exact total and confirm it before you create a card or add money.
Why was my payment declined?
There are three usual reasons. The card balance does not cover the plan plus the temporary hold. The billing address does not match the one on your card details page. Or the 3D Secure code expired before you entered it.
What happens when my Claude plan renews?
Anthropic charges the same card on the renewal date. Make sure the card has enough money before then. If the card is empty, the renewal is declined and your subscription can stop.
Can I use the card for other subscriptions?
Yes. It is a Visa virtual card, so it works where Visa is accepted. The card issuer and the merchant still need to approve each payment.
